QUICK BITE - Don Bosco Higher Secondary School had its annual interclass festival LIVEWIRE 2021


Don Bosco Higher Secondary School had its annual interclass festival LIVEWIRE 2021 on November 17th in the virtual cum physical mode. This colorful and joyful event commenced at 9:30 am with the formal welcoming of the principal, Fr. Clive Telles in the Bicentenary hall. The hosts Miss Chetna Thanki, Master Moses Sequeira and Miss Zaafirah Siddique ensured clarity to the listeners both online and offline.

The theme for this years livewire was Bloom with Colours. The competition was a great way for the students to showcase their talents in the fields of dance, different forms of art and past knowledge. It also proved to be an unforgettable occasion for all enthusiastic students.

The event was categorized into 3 sections online onstage events that comprised of a Prop dance and an Online fashion show, online offstage events that comprised of Vegetable carving competition, Rangoli competition, Fountain making and a Bended digital photo collage and the Live event-The Final Countdown (Quiz).

A video presentation of the judges and of all the students performances and artworks was displayed followed by the announcement of the winners by the Livewire team. The students had a glint of pride in their eyes as they watched the mesmerizing performances of their fellow classmates. The Quiz rounds were held at different intervals in between. The rounds were based on three different areas Salesians of Don Bosco, Newspaper round and World of sports. Each team comprised of 3 students from their respective classes and the logical intellect of the participants was debriefed.

Before the results were to be declared, the Principal, Rev Fr. Clive Telles addressed the gathering. The final result was announced by Tr. Zenobia Miranda and XI Arts was declared the winner followed by XI Science B as the runners up. A vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Nikiah Fonseca Da Silva, the General Secretary.

The event coordinators were Sir Joseph, Tr Dhanashri, Tr Mahima, Tr Aloma, Tr Aditi and Tr Zenobia who along with the entire staff made it a successful event.
