Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Panjim, celebrated its Club Inaugural Ceremony on 16th July 2025 in the Bicentenary Hall at 11:15 a.m. The event marked the formal launch of 30 vibrant clubs, reflecting the school’s commitment to its motto — “Excellence in Knowledge and Culture – Nurture Bosco Culture 100%.”
The programme began with a solemn club prayer led by Alex D souza of XII Com B, invoking divine blessings on all club endeavors.A vibrant Club Rap was then presented by the students of Standard XI and XII Arts, under the guidance of Tr. Selza Lopes, giving a rhythmic introduction to the 30 diverse clubs of our institution.
A role play, titled “The Colour of Her Dreams”, was performed by Ahana Kamat and Vipula S .Usgaonkar from the XI COM B mentored by Tr. Bianca Fernandes.The act highlighted the significance of choosing career paths based on one’s talents and passions rather than academic scores alone.
Next, a thought-provoking Video Presentation titled “The Goan Elite Club” was and presented by Mahib Kadri from the XI Commerce B narrating the journey of Goan Artist who have achieved success, consistently honing their skills and following their passion.
Thereafter A role play titled “A Mentor’s Magic” was performed by Hardika Naik and Renisha De Araujo (XI Commerce B) guided by Tr.Bianca Fernandes. The skit highlighted the pivotal role of mentors in guiding students nurture their hidden talents.
The students of standard XII com B presented a skit titled “Trained to Save”Guided by Tr. Bianca Fernandes.The skit showcased the importance of clubs and reinforcing the idea that life skills gained through clubs are powerful and potentially life-changing.

The audience was then treated to a rousing musical performance by The Elite Club Band, whose soulful rendition echoed the spirit of the clubs — that every student carries a spark that, when nurtured, can lead to greatness.
The students of XI Science, guided by Tr. Astrid Furtado, delivered an electrifying dance and musical fusion celebrating the vibrant spirit of student clubs.The performance doubled as a dynamic club showcase, reflecting the creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm that define every club.
The highlight of the day was the official declaration of the 30 clubs as open by Principal Rev. Fr. Tamatur Cardoso. Speaking on the occasion Rev Fr. Tamatur emphasized that while academics build a foundation, co-curricular activities give students the extra edge — empowering them to succeed in life with confidence, vision, and competence.
