PTA Meetings Held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim
The Faculties of Arts, Commerce, and Science at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim, conducted a series of Parent–Teacher Meetings for students of Std. XI and XII in the month of June 2024. Each session began promptly at 8:15 a.m. and witnessed the active participation of faculty members, students, and parents.

Each session opened with a warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of partnership between the school and parents. A reflective prayer service, led by a senior student, was followed by a hymn sung by the student choir, setting a tone of gratitude and unity for the gathering.

The core faculty members of each stream were introduced, with appreciation for their subject expertise and mentoring roles. The School Motto for the academic year — “Excellence in Knowledge and Character, Nurture Bosco Culture 100%” — was formally presented as a guiding vision for nurturing responsible, well-rounded individuals rooted in values and purpose. Parents were encouraged to participate actively in their child’s growth by creating supportive home environments and fostering discipline, kindness, and faith.

An academic overview highlighted student achievements in the board examinations, along with details of the assessment structure and innovative evaluation methods aimed at promoting critical thinking and skill development. A dedicated session on discipline reinforced the importance of character, values, and the preventive approach to education. The role of extracurricular activities, clubs, and school culture in shaping holistic learners was also emphasized.
During the open forum, parents shared valuable suggestions regarding school routines and communication, which were acknowledged with openness and a promise of consideration. Clarifications were provided on meeting protocols and attendance procedures.
The school’s vision and mission were reiterated through an inspiring address, encouraging students to dream boldly and grow with effort, values, and integrity. Parents were invited to be active co-travellers in this journey of transformation.

The meetings concluded with a vote of thanks and a message of shared responsibility — that students thrive best when home and school work hand in hand.
