PTA Meetings

QUICK BITE -

The Faculty of Arts, Commerce, and Science at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim, held a series of Parent-Teacher Meetings for Std XI & XII in the month June 2024. The meetings commenced promptly at 8:15 AM, with faculty members, students and parents in attendance.


##Each faculty organized separate sessions, but the agenda remained consistent across all meetings. The primary focus was to brief parents and students about the assessment pattern for academics and the school’s disciplinary rules and regulations. The highlight of the sessions was a talk on the school’s motto for the year: “DREAM GREAT…DO GREAT, BE DB PRIDE.” This discussion emphasized the educational values that form the foundation of the Bosco culture and underscored the importance of nurturing greatness through the holistic development of students.


##During the meetings, faculty members provided an overview of the assessment pattern for the year, emphasizing the crucial role of collaboration between parents and teachers in fostering academic excellence among students. They also discussed the disciplinary rules and regulations, stressing the significance of discipline as a vital link between setting goals and achieving them.
Each meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, allowing parents to engage directly with the faculty and clarify any concerns or queries they had regarding their children’s education and school policies.


##The meetings successfully fostered cooperation and support between parents, students, and faculty. The open dialogue and shared commitment to Don Bosco's values set a positive tone for the academic year, aligning everyone in their efforts to nurture greatness and achieve excellence.
