QUICK BITE - The vibrant festivities of Christmas unfolded joyously at the Bicentenary Hall of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on December 22, 2023. The celebration commenced with a profoundly meaningful prayer service, setting the tone for the day's events.

The vibrant festivities of Christmas unfolded joyously at the Bicentenary Hall of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on December 22, 2023. The celebration commenced with a profoundly meaningful prayer service, setting the tone for the day's events.


The program's focal point was a captivating skit on Nativity, conveying messages of love, kindness, and acceptance. Artistic expressions took center stage with a soulful rendition of Christmas Carols by the Arts Stream. The enchanting Christmas dance, choreographed by the Commerce students, added a delightful rhythm to the festivities. A spirited Christmas Quiz engaged the audience, offering both entertainment and a test of their Biblical knowledge. The event was further elevated by the distribution of spot prizes, ensuring an atmosphere of cheerful participation. Additionally, competitions such as 'Santa with a Message' and 'Glass Paintings' were held, adding to the festive spirit of the season


On December 21, 2023 participants expressed their artistic flair in the Star making and Card making Competition. The grand culmination of the celebrations featured a heartfelt Christmas message delivered by Principal, Rev. Fr. Tamatur Cardozo. His words resonated with warmth, echoing the true essence of the festive season.
The Staff Christmas celebrations that followed featured an array of spot prizes, resonant Carol singing, and engaging games. The celebration was marked by an inspiring message from the Rector, Rev. Fr. Avin Carvalho, imparting a sense of unity and camaraderie among the teaching fraternity.


The program was meticulously curated by the organizing team led by Tr. Muriel Alphonso, Tr. Astride Furtado, Tr. Cheryl Martins and Sir. Newton D’Souza. In essence, the Christmas Celebrations offered a unique and engaging experience for all involved. The emphasis on artistic expression and the infusion of moral values contributed to the participants' personal development. Moreover, the festivities served as a catalyst for community building, strengthening the bonds of unity and togetherness among students and staff.
