Quiz on Mother Mary held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim recently organized a stream-wise quiz competition on Mother Mary with the aim of providing education that is rooted in faith-based principles.The quiz served as an enlightening and educational experience and was conducted in two rounds. The semi-finals were held from 30th August, 2023 to 1st September, 2023 and the finals took place as scheduled on 2nd September, 2023.
The quiz encompassed various aspects pertaining to the life of Mother Mary, her numerous glorious forms, and her notable apparitions. The finalists were shortlisted as per the points scored, and they further answered challenging rounds. It was observed that the quiz created in the students a sense of cultural and historical awareness, it gave scope for critical thinking, deepened their knowledge and above all they grew in the love for Mother Mary. Her humble life inspired them, and the very fact that ‘she appeared to the most humble of all’ helped them understand life better. It inculcated in them the virtue of humility.
Three students shared the First place and the second place was shared by two students.
