BECOMING EFFECTIVE EDUCATORS

QUICK BITE -

On 9th August 2024, the Faculty of Arts organized an insightful talk for the teachers of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, focusing on the theme of "Becoming Effective Educators." The session was led by Mrs. Martha Braganza, a seasoned educator with extensive experience in the field.
Mrs. Braganza emphasized ten crucial aspects of effective teaching, which are vital for nurturing well-rounded students. Among these, she highlighted the importance of going beyond the prescribed syllabus to foster a deeper understanding and curiosity in students. She encouraged teachers to enrich the learning experience through interactive activities such as quizzes, educational outings, and model-making projects.
One of the key points stressed by Mrs. Braganza was the need for teachers to treat all students with equal respect and kindness, regardless of their background.
