Science Spectra, was organized with the theme "Imaginations to Innovations" at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim on August 28, 2024.
The primary objective of the event was to inspire students to engage and explore with scientific concepts creatively and innovatively. By showcasing the evolution of scientific thought from timeless innovators to modern-day applications, the event aimed to cultivate a spirit of inquiry and innovation among the students.
"Timeless Innovators , a role play on scientific discoveries , inventions and inventors highlighted the contributions of historical figures in the field of science and how their groundbreaking work which continues to influence the present.
"Science Sphere" where students participated in interactive exhibits, demonstrating their own projects and experiments.
"Heureka Challenge" a competitive segment designed to test students' scientific knowledge
"Fashion Formula" science students presented fashion portraying the Greats & Geniuses in the field of science
Chief Guest Fr. Joaquim Lobo , appreciated the event encouraging students to think outside the box. "An Event like this fosters a spirit of healthy competition and continuous improvement", he staid.
Overall, Science Spectra successfully achieved its goal of merging imagination with innovation, leaving the students with renewed enthusiasm for the wonders of science.
