Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Celebrates Feast of St. Dominic Savio with Investiture Ceremony, Singing Competition, and Class Logo Contest

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim, celebrated the Feast of St. Dominic Savio with a trio of exciting events: the Investiture Ceremony, a singing competition, and a class logo competition.


The Investiture Ceremony, graced by Chief Guest Fr. Joaquim Lobo, marked the official appointment of the new Student Council. The newly elected council members took their oaths of office, pledging to uphold the school's values and serve their fellow students with dedication and integrity.



The singing competition, held in both English and vernacular categories, showcased the talented voices of the students. Participants demonstrated a clear understanding of the school motto and its significance through their song choices and performances. The winners were as follows.


English Category: -
1st Prize: Charlize Rodrigues -XI Arts
2nd Prize: Nicole De Souza-XI Com A

Vernacular Category: -
1st Prize: Kaashvi Dhawan- XI Arts
2nd Prize: Damaceno De Souza - XI Sci A
2rd Prize: Jesiel Mascarenhas- XII Com B

The judges, renowned musicians Shona Lynn De Silva , Karl Meneses, and Ben Ferrao took to the stage, delivering an electrifying performance.
The class logo competition, held earlier, saw creative and innovative designs from the students. The events celebrated the school's values of leadership, creativity, and excellence. The competition brought together students of different backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity and school pride. Talent and potential of the students was highlighted, inspiring others to "Dream Great...Do Great...Be DB Pride"
