A talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Digital Transformation’

QUICK BITE - A talk on Substance Abuse was delivered by Fr. Edison Fernandes, sdbfor the students of Standard 11 on 27th February, 2023 in the Bicentenary hall of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim.
Fr. Edison spoke on the different types of addictions. Highlighting more on Alcohol and drug addiction.

A talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Digital Transformation’ was held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim Goa on February 7, 2023 as part of the ongoing project Vidnyan Dhara 2023, a mega science series to celebrate the ‘National Science Day 2023'. The science series is a collaborative initiative of the Government of Higher Education , Government of Goa and 'Goa state Higher Education Council’.



The Resource person Prof. Razia de Loyola Furtado Sardinha, faculty of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna delivered an interactive talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Digital Transformation’ for the students of standard XI.


Speaking on the occasion Prof.Razia encouraged the students to be innovative and said “Whenever you see a problem start thinking towards possible solutions”. She further shared that ‘AI is an incredibly powerful, and extremely valuable technology, it essentially allows computers to think and behave like humans, but at much faster speeds and with much more processing power than the human brain can produce. Elaborating further she said “AI will shape our economies, jobs and education, it will make modern business and communication technologies flourish powered by AI’ .The students were eager to learn about the latest trends in artificial intelligence and interacted with Prof.Razia on the nuances of Machine Learning during the feedback session. The Programme was compered by Krisha Shetty student of XI Commerce B and the Vote of thanks was delivered by Tr. Bianca Fernandes .
