Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim conducts YRC Workshop On First Aid and Bandaging
The YRC unit of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim conducted a First Aid and Bandaging workshop for the students of Std XI on October 12, 2022 in the Bicentenary hall of the school. The workshop was conducted by Mr. John Mota Lecturer of Institute of Nursing Bambolim.
Mr. John Mota emphasized on the importance of learning First Aid and Bandaging.The workshop sessions focused on the basics of First Aid, and how to provide First Aid in wounds, bleeding, musculoskeletal injury, burns, heatstroke, poisoning, bites, drowning, fainting, seizures and unconsciousness. Mr. John also demonstrated how different types of bandaging can be used for different injuries.
The workshop was organised by YRC Coordinator, Ms Irene D'mello.
