Workshop on ‘Artistic works of ‘António Xavier Trindade' held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary
School, Panjim.
The ‘Media Club’ of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim in association with 'Communicare Trust' held a
workshop highlighting the ‘Artistic works of António Xavier Trindade’ on August 27, 2022.
Resource person, Ms Nalini Elvino de Sousa exhibited copies of the world renowned paintings of Mr Trindade, a
20 th century master portraitist of Goan origin. Through well-thought-out activities and games designed for the
participants, she facilitated keen observation of the nuances of his work and artistic style.
The session was extremely interactive and the students were captured by the inputs provided by Ms Nalini. The
event coordinated by Ms Astride Furtado and Ms Andrea Fernandes indeed served to bolster student’s interest in
the field of arts.
